Research Interests:
My research focuses on how
postnatal nutrition influences health outcomes by modifying the effect of in
utero exposures. I am also interested in optimizing health care and outcomes
for children with micronutrient deficiencies, in particular vitamin C.
Current Projects:
- Postnatal high fat diet in a mouse model of intrauterine growth restriction
- Interaction of maternal obesity and rapid infant weight gain on childhood obesity risk
- Iron content of infant formula
- Optimization of care for children with vitamin C deficiency
