Section faculty Lalit Bajaj and Marion Sills joined other members of the hospital's multidisciplinary Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) in publishing a manuscript in the Journal of Pediatricssummarizing the process by which the SAC helped develop clinical care guidance, stimulate academic research and create educational opportunities related to COVID-19.
The article also links to a toolkit designed to help other institutions set up a Scientific Advisory Council to work with Incident Command systems to help synthesize evidence rapidly.
