Drs. Joe Grubenhoff and Lalit Bajaj and University of Colorado coauthors won a Best of the Best award for their presentation “Developing a Data Stream to Detect Diagnostic Errors in the Pediatric ED” at the 2020 Diagnostic Error in Medicine Conference. The project aims to identify diagnostic errors not reported in existing safety incident reporting systems, describe their frequency, and develop strategies to reduce missed diagnostic opportunities.
