A research team including Section of Pediatric Emergency Medicine faculty Kathleen Adelgais, Denise Abdoo, Michelle Alletag, Ashley Balakas, Tim Givens, Maria Mandt, Kelley Roswell, & Mary Saunders published an article showing that an online module they developed utilizing deliberate practice led to measurable skill improvement among prehospital professionals for differentiating abusive from non-abusive burn and bruise injuries.
