The average GPA of all 2021 applicants is 3.7 (4.0 scale); the average MCAT score was 513. The average MCAT score for the Class of 2021 is 516; their average GPA is 3.82.
CU MSTP is currently enrolling 10 students to each cohort. In 2021, we received 564applications, interviewed 81 students, for the 10 slots.

Yes. You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States to be eligible for our MST Program. CU-MSTP does not enroll any international student.
Yes. Should you not be receive an invitation to interview with MSTP, you can notify the SOM directly that you would like to be considered for the med-only program at CU. Please email them SOMadmin@ucdenver.edu
While not necessary/required, post-baccalaureate programs can help support your application. We review applications holistically, so strong GPAs and MCATs are important, but we take great attention in reading all essays and letters of recommendation.

No. An applicant must apply through the AAMC/AMCAS application and the School of Medicine to be considered for the MST Program at CU.
Primary AMCAS Application is due November 15, 2020
CASPer Exam Results are due December 1, 2020
Secondary Application and all supplemental pieces for a completed application is due December 31, 2020
Yes, CUSOM will accept P/F courses and labs from spring semester 2020. All coursework and applications will be reviewed in the context of major disruptions to educational, clinical, and research opportunities to applicants due to COVID-19.
The Admissions Team is following the MCAT situation closely and is aware that many testing dates have been disrupted. At the moment, an MCAT score is still required in order for your application to CUSOM to be considered complete and scheduled for review.
