Mission
Our mission is to significantly improve the lives of people with Down syndrome through advanced biomedical research.
The Crnic Institute was founded in 2008 and is one of the only academic centers whose mission is fully devoted to Down syndrome research. We use state-of-the-art, transformational research platforms to decipher the unique biology and disease spectrum of people with Down syndrome. Our work spans the entire translational pipeline, from basic science to clinical research, clinical trials, and the advancement of medical care.
