This one-year fellowship is designed to provide excellent training, mentorship, and exposure for physicians to emerge from the program capable of leading change in complex healthcare systems.
Fellows will participate in training through the Institute for Healthcare Quality, Safety, and Efficiency (IHQSE), with a focus on advanced leadership, teamwork, quality, safety, and system redesign concepts and skills.
Experiential work is focused on leadership of a quality improvement project, participation in divisional collaborative case conferences, and Department of Medicine M&M conferences.
Clinically, to provide a full-breadth of exposure to hospital medicine, fellows attend on a variety of services across our division including general medicine, oncology, and consult services which involve both teaching and non-teaching services.
