The Department of Dermatology has established funding for Educational Innovation Projects (EIPs) to support the career development of outstanding dermatology faculty educators who aspire to improve patient care through transformative educational practice and study. This EIP funding for innovative approaches to education is designed to:
The Department will fund one award annually (up to $10,000) for projects submitted by members of the dermatology faculty with a budget period of 12 months from the time of the award.
Project Focus
Educational Innovation Projects should be aligned with CU Dermatology’s education mission and address topics that can catalyze national change through published scholarship. Preference will be given to projects that address educational priorities of the institution and/or department, particularly as they advance areas of interest identified as part of our strategic planning process (including, for example: deliberate practice and feedback; interprofessional training and care; competency-based education; and performance assessment).
Applications will be accepted annually with a deadline of October 1 at 5:00 PM MT.
