Mohs micro​graphic surgery is one of the most effective techniques for treating basal cell carcinomas and squamous cell carcinomas, the two most common types of skin cancer.  ​​The Department of Dermatology hosts a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, Dr. Mariah Brown, who has advanced expertise in Mohs surgery and reconstruction and is recognized as a national leader in the field.

In addition to Mohs surgery and other surgical treatments of skin cancer, our surgeons provide surgical management of benign skin growths and scars.
