About the Symposium

This interdisciplinary conference will enable communication between faculty and trainees in related fields to share methods, insights, and approaches. We welcome submissions from all related areas.

People will be coming from many disciplines and backgrounds. Submissions should be written so that colleagues outside your expertise can understand your work.


Plenary Speaker

Emily Jensen

Emily Jensen, PhD

Emily Jensen is an expert in distributed control systems, focusing on how large networks of interacting devices can cooperate to achieve complex tasks.  Her research develops mathematical frameworks for analyzing and designing controllers for spatially distributed systems, with applications ranging from electric power grids to satellite formations and bio-inspired soft robotics.  She is a member of the faculty in the department of electrical engineering at CU Boulder, and she received a Ph.D. from University of California Santa Barbara in 2020.

Event Registration and Abstract Submission

To attend the symposium, plese fill out the registration form below. Preference will be given to those who are submitting for a presentation.

  • Due Date: April 17th at 5pm Mountain Time
  • All abstracts submitted for consideration must be less than 1.5 pages, 11pt font, with at least 1/2 inch margins.
  • Include title, author(s), and affiliation(s) at the beginning of the submission.
  • All accepted submissions will be made available on this website after the conference is completed.
