The MCoA offers opportunities available to both the community and professionals to create a variety of intergenerational learning opportunities.

The COAST-IT program is a telecare initiative that connects older adults with students to foster a mentorship connection.
• For Community and Students
This role is for older adults in the community to participate in different campus platforms for learning with health profession students at CU Anschutz. GeriEducators will serve in role playing, case studies discussions, intergenerational conversations and much more.
• For Community, Research Teams and Industry
The OARS program is available as a course for community members to become certified health navigators and research specialists to join research teams, on campus or with industry to provide experience, knowledge, and insight and contribute to the creation of research directly impacting older adults.
• For Students and Faculty
This certificate program, funded by Senate Bill 23-31, trains graduate students from ten different healthcare disciplines to engage in a unique interprofessional program that provides new skills in geriatric care to better care for their older adult patients.
