  • Speakers will present a collaborative research project involving investigators from different departments, schools, institutions, or community partners; briefly describe the project, partnership structure, and research outcomes before reflecting on how the collaboration developed; and discuss how collaborators connected, what made the partnership successful, challenges encountered, lessons learned, and practical advice for building and sustaining productive research collaborations.

• Generative AI in HSR: Opportunities, Risks, and Ethical Use
  • Speakers will provide a balanced perspective on generative AI from two complementary viewpoints: (1) studying generative AI as a topic of health services research and (2) using generative AI to support day-to-day research and training activities. Speakers will use real-world examples to illustrate opportunities, limitations, and ethical considerations, helping attendees understand not only what AI can do but what it should and should not be used for.

This session aims to recognize exemplary HSR while providing investigators with an opportunity to share emerging work, receive constructive feedback, and foster discussion on future research directions and collaboration.
