Colorado Program for Patient Centered Decisions (CPPCD) Core

About Us decorative

Vision/Mission:
Our goal is to empower patients and clinicians to make patient-centered decisions, to develop evidence-based tools and strategies to support those decisions, and to foster healthcare culture change.

Impact:
The Colorado Program for Patient Centered Decisions (CPPCD) is a national leader in advancing shared decision making.  Our free-to-use tools have been referenced by national policy makers such as CMS, and they are used internationally in over 100 countries. We develop, test, and implement evidence-based tools and strategies that support and advance shared decision-making across all medical decisions. Through multidisciplinary collaboration and research, CPPCD aims to strengthen patient-clinician partnerships and promote a more patient-centered healthcare culture. To learn more or ask about collaboration, contact Dan Matlock at [email protected] or Laura Scherer at [email protected].

The CPPCD website includes decision aids on various medical conditions and choices (see below).
