Michael Sanchez Valdes is a research professional for the Family Matters Study, with a focus on data acquisition as part of the R33-study measurement team. He began his research career at the University of Minnesota, and as of 2024, has joined CU Anschutz to form part of the ACCORDS. Prior to working in research, he has worked as an English as a second language instructor, translator, and interpreter, with work centered in providing aid to traditionally underrepresented communities.
