Genesis joined the Family Matters team in 2025. She earned her B.A in Psychology and Chicano Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
As a first-generation Latina, she is dedicated to understanding and addressing the community's needs within the healthcare and education systems. She is committed to continuing advocating and empowering families through her work as a community health worker. She looks forward to providing guidance and support to families throughout their health journey. 
In her free time, Genesis enjoys hiking, reading, and trying new coffee shops
