Nicki joined the Family Matters team in October 2023 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and now serves as a Graduate Research Assistant. In her role, she supports participant recruitment and engagement across this multi-site, family-based research study, contributing to efforts that strengthen family systems and promote long-term well-being.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Population Mental Health and Well-Being at the University of Colorado Anschutz. Nicki is passionate about advancing population mental health and supporting evidence-based family interventions that foster lasting health outcomes.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks outdoors with her dog, and exploring new recipes in the kitchen.
