Carol earned her Master of Arts degree in Biological Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2018. She holds a BA in Psychology and BA in Anthropology from UNLV. Before joining the Prevention Research Center (PRC) at ACCORDS, she was a research assistant at the Nevada Institute for Children's Research and Policy and coordinated the Clark County Child Fatality Review. Carol has been with the PRC since 2017 doing mixed-methods health services research. Her research interests include maternal and child health, evolutionary and cross-cultural perspectives on human behavior, parenting and child abuse prevention.
