Laura Helmkamp joined ACCORDS in 2016. She has earned Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan. Laura has nearly 15 years of experience as a data analyst in health care research, and particularly enjoys data monitoring for ongoing clinical trials, learning new statistical methods, and creating impactful data visualizations. In her current role, she co-manages the ACCORDS analytic team and supports several ACCORDS research projects focused on pediatric and adult health outcomes.
