Jessica Suhowatsky is a phenomenal nurse practitioner (NP) with a refreshing approach to women’s healthcare. I had been avoiding getting a Pap because of past experiences with other offices. This was my first visit to CU Medicine OB-GYN East Denver (Rocky Mountain) clinic, and Jess went above and beyond to make sure I was not only comfortable, but empowered even.

I feel so fortunate to have had Dr. Jacobson and his team of surgeons, Dr. Patterson and Crysta, along with Dr. Chado, a wonderful anesthesiologist, as well as, the kind and competent nurses, Norma, Rachel, Carlos and all the Kathys (there were several) perform my hysterectomy. I felt safe and secure. I was completely well informed and well tended to even after the surgery. Thank you Dr. Jacobson. And thank you to all the others [involved in my care]. It takes a village!

Dr. Jeanne Sullivan is the best doctor I have ever worked with! She was very attentive, extremely supportive and truly listened to me and my concerns. She went above and beyond to make sure I was heard, comfortable and well informed. She worked with me to manage my reproductive health issues and has offered continuous support after the procedure. Her positive energy and confidence in our health care plan made me feel safe and secure with my own health. I look forward to seeing her for my future OB-GYN care and maintenance. I saw Dr. Sarah Peterson initially and she was extremely caring as well, she listened to my concerns and goals with my health and was the one who recommended me to Dr. Sullivan to continue with my health procedure plan. Both were wonderful doctors who truly listened and supported me with my health. The office staff and nurses were also extremely supportive with my questions, insurance issues, and paperwork, as well as quick scheduling. A great facility!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Carranza for a few years now. I have always felt that my concerns were heard. She does a great job explaining and offering options with no pressure towards any treatment. She explains the pros and cons and lets me decide with no pressure. She’s also kind and friendly.

Dr. D’Ambrosia was recommended to me years ago after numerous bad experiences with other OB-GYN doctors. To me she is a trusted medical professional who feels like a long-time friend when I see her for my annual preventative care visit. She is warm and kind and she takes the time to check in to see how I am doing, to answer my questions, and to make the annual exam as minimally unpleasant as possible. There is no better OB-GYN practice in Denver than East Denver CU Medicine Obstetrics & Gynecology and Dr. Yuko D’Ambrosia and Dr. Emily Schneider.

Dr. Emily Schneider is both professional and warm. She cares about the well-being of her patients and it shows through the time she takes to talk with patients about their questions and the gentle approach she takes to an otherwise unpleasant but critical preventative care exam. I’d recommend her in a heartbeat to my friends and to any woman looking for a doctor they can trust and appreciate working with.

I went in for an initial consultation for sterilization with Dr. Allison Herman. She was absolutely fabulous and never questioned my desire as a 27-year-old, childless woman to get sterilized. Ultimately, we decided that a hysterectomy and bi-salpingectomy would be the best option. She tagged in Dr. Alison Patterson for the hysterectomy since the surgery is her specialty. Both doctors stayed with me through the whole deal—my superstar team of Al(l)isons! From start to finish, the process was so easy and smooth. Dr. Patterson checked in every few days post-op to make sure I was making progress and to answer any questions I had. As someone who has disabilities and constantly has to fight my insurance, the fact that the office took care of the approval on their end was such a blessing. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I’m now going around to all my friends who want to be sterilized, recommending not only the office in general but specifically Dr. Patterson and Dr. Herman.

Dr. Patterson made me feel listened to and heard. She genuinely cares about her patients and made sure I was comfortable. It was my first time getting surgery so I was scared, and she eased all my worries. She also explained everything to me whenever I had a question. She’s a brilliant doctor, and I knew I was in good hands for my surgery.

I cannot recommend Dr. Levy enough – he is not only extremely competent and knowledgeable but also very caring. He found a cancerous spot during my pregnancy that could have gone unnoticed for a long time and helped me navigate an extremely challenging time for me physically and emotionally. He called just to check in on me multiple times and always made me feel deeply cared for and supported. I’ve delivered two healthy babies with this practice and feel so incredibly grateful for Dr. Levy and the other providers there.

I love the approach that Dr. Patterson took with me. I felt listened to, supported, and cared for while under her care. She took time to answer all of my questions and went the extra step to check in on me in the surgery prep room. I felt like I was in good hands the entire time. I felt like I didn’t have to advocate for my health, since she was advocating for me already. I can’t say enough good things about the care I received from her and her staff.

The clinicians and support staff are a competent and compassionate group of people. While the focus is on gynecological concerns. Dr. Patterson is committed to understanding the whole patient. She takes the time and makes the effort to fully understand her patient’s concerns in addition to making sure the plan moving forward is clear to her patients. Her bedside manner creates a safe space for people in an otherwise vulnerable situation and her scheduling and billing department staff is clear, pleasant, and very helpful. Dr. Patterson’s surgical skill and expertise resulted in a speedy and uncomplicated recovery after my recent hysterectomy. I’m grateful to have such a caring physician and wonderful experience. I needed to find a new OB-GYN and was referred to CU Medicine OB-GYN East Denver (Rocky Mountain) (located in same building as my primary care physician) and setup with appointment at beginning of the year for annual exam. Almost as soon as the exam started, Dr. Patterson immediately noticed cause for concern and scheduled ultrasound for the very next day. Long story short, surgery was scheduled for hysterectomy in March to remove massive fibroid tumor(s) the size of a small melon. I was very satisfied and appreciative of the care I received from Dr. Patterson as well as from all the surgical staff, pre/post-op nurses, the anesthesiologist, and all the medical staff who assisted as well as answered all my questions, eased my anxiety, and followed up to check up on me. I felt, and continue to feel very safe and cared for in their hands.

I will never have the right words to adequately express my gratitude to this amazing practice and the care that these doctors provide. They have delivered two beautiful babies for me and have been my providers through several losses as well, including one devastating second trimester loss. In every scenario I’ve experienced this practice has been thoughtful, pragmatic and genuinely helpful. I see Drs. Jacobson and Pitotti if schedules align but have also seen Drs. D’Ambrosia and Herman, and they are all excellent. We live in Castle Rock and people always give me a hard time for passing several perfectly good hospitals but they don’t know how incredible my practice is. The truth is I would travel even further to come here. THANK YOU!!!

I love that Dr. Jacobson gave me my life back. After months of revolving doctors (other practices), unexplained and untreated pain, fighting to get up to face another day, I was BLESSED to find Dr. Jacobson. If I cry now, it is with tears of relief and gratitude to God that there are medical people who do care and listen and fix people. Dr. Jacobson is a godsend and I will ALWAYS be grateful to have found him. His surgical team is AWESOME also. I can’t be thankful enough for all these folks who made my life worth living.

In 2010 I was referred to CU Medicine OB-GYN East Denver (Rocky Mountain) by a personal friend. Over the years, I have had countless encounters, including yearly checkups and two surgeries: 2011 and 2020. Each time, the doctors and staff at CU RMOB went above and beyond to ensure that my questions were answered and all of my needs were met. I cannot say enough great things about this practice. I feel very fortunate to have Drs. Dwinnell and Jacobson taking care of my reproductive healthcare needs. Both are exceptional healthcare providers and skilled practitioners.
