Beyond Live Sessions: Expanding Access Through On-Demand Learning
Jul 2, 2026
As summer moves on and schedules shift, live educational programming naturally slows down. But the need for expertise never pauses, and neither does The Care Collaborative’s commitment to making it accessible.
While the ECHO model is rooted in live, interactive learning, accessibility also means meeting learners where they are. For many healthcare professionals across Colorado and beyond, flexibility is essential. That’s why The Care Collaborative offers a library of ECHO On-Demand asynchronous learning opportunities.
Asynchronous learning allows participants to engage with educational content on their own schedule no matter what their time zone. These offerings make it possible for busy professionals to continue building knowledge and skills even when live ECHOs are not in session.
Importantly, accessibility does not mean sacrificing engagement. The Care Collaborative’s ECHO On-Demand courses include interactive elements such as knowledge checks, case-based activities and opportunities for reflection that encourage active learning and reinforce key concepts. ECHO On-Demand courses also offer continuing education credit.
Live learning will always play a central role in the ECHO model because of the connection and shared problem-solving it creates. But year-round access to expertise requires multiple pathways for learning. By combining live education with flexible, on-demand resources, The Care Collaborative helps ensure that expertise remains available whenever and wherever it’s needed.
This summer, we invite you to explore our ECHO On-Demand library and continue learning with us — anytime, anywhere.
