University of Colorado Hospital is located on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado, which is also home to the University of Colorado clinical schools, multiple institutes and research enterprises, Children's Hospital Colorado, and the Rocky Mountain Regional VA.

UCH will build a new tower starting in 2021 to meet the growing demands for complex medical care. Once built, the 11-story tower will provide an additional 9 operating rooms and 103 additional beds. The hospital has multiple primary-care facilities in the metropolitan Denver area and is building several satellite specialty and surgical centers. University of Colorado Hospital is part of University of Colorado Health, which includes hospitals in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Laramie, Wyoming. However, the Vascular Residents will presently only train at the Aurora site of UCHealth.

The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center is the tertiary hospital for the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System. It is a referral center for Veterans requiring complex vascular care throughout the Rocky Mountain region. The Vascular Service has two half-days of clinic, two full operating room days, and at least one day in Interventional Radiology. Common endovascular procedures include aortic aneurysm repair, percutaneous peripheral interventions, and carotid artery stenting. The senior vascular trainee oversees day-to-day management of the vascular service under the supervision of the vascular surgery faculty.
