Application Process


We sincerely appreciate your interest in the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Applications will be reviewed in their entirety through a wholistic committee process. One vascular resident is chosen yearly to join the program at the intern level. For the academic year beginning June 23, 2024, the University of Colorado Integrated Residency Program will be participating in a combination of the NRMP and Military Matches. Candidates may submit applications to ERAS beginning September 6, 2023.

Application requirements are as follows:

  1. 3 Clinical or Research Faculty Letters of Recommendation, one should be from a vascular surgeon
  2. Dean's Letter (submitted by Medical Schools)
  3. CV
  4. Personal statement

The Department of Surgery, along with the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, are firmly committed to training surgical leaders for future generations. Recruitment of diverse individuals to our training programs is a vital factor for increasing diversity in the physician workforce.
