Application Process


We sincerely appreciate your interest in the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Applications will be reviewed in their entirety through a holistic committee process. One vascular resident is chosen yearly to join the program at the intern level. For the academic year beginning June 23, 2027, the University of Colorado Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program will be participating in the Military Match. Candidates interested in this position must apply through the appropriate military graduate medical education application process in accordance with their service branch requirements and timelines. The program anticipates returning to participation in the NRMP Match for the subsequent application cycle.

Application requirements are as follows:

  1. 3 Clinical or Research Faculty Letters of Recommendation, one should be from a vascular surgeon
  2. Dean's Letter (submitted by Medical Schools)
  3. CV
  4. USMLE Step 1 & 2 scores
  5. Personal statement
