Urology continues to be a highly competitive specialty—and as a result, many qualified candidates do not match in their first year. Many struggle in this case, or even view it as a setback; we view it as an opportunity.
The Residency Training Program within the Division of Urology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is an ACGME accredited five-year program approved for a resident complement of three residents per year.
The UCSOM Division of Urology currently offers two fellowships focusing on different areas of subspecialty training:
Department of Surgery Grand Rounds are held Monday mornings at 7:00 a.m., and Urology Grand Rounds are held immediately afterward. Both Grand Rounds are available for CME credit. For more information, see our Continuing Medical Education page.
