Career, and Personal Development

Mentoring

Our combination of formal and informal mentorship helps our fellows achieve their goals. The faculty have strengths and specialties that match your needs. Whether fellows are seeking guidance for a specific research project, a high value idea, career planning, finding harmony with life outside of medicine, or anything else, we are invested in your growth and development!

Formal Mentoring

  1. Faculty Mentor: We encourage our fellows to choose a faculty mentor during their first quarter of the fellowship. They will meet with you quarterly to discuss any concerns you have with your fellowship, research goals and career goals. During the fellowship you will explore research ideas and create relationships with subspecialty mentors. They will help mentor you on your projects and fellowship.

  2. Program Director: Your PD is part of the Clinical Competency Committee, which tracks your overall progress during fellowship. They will meet with you at least twice a year to discuss your overall progress as part of your semi-annual performance review. They will help you to know how you are performing on all of the fellowship milestones, the next steps for being your best, and ensure you are on the correct trajectory towards graduation.

Career Opportunities

Our goal is to prepare you for whatever area of radiology you are passionate about! We will help you find a position that will allow you to provide excellent care in that section.
