The purpose of the PT Early Admit Program is to provide exceptional students with meaningful exposure to the breadth and depth of the physical therapy profession and the University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program. The program is designed to help address Colorado’s healthcare needs by identifying and supporting students who demonstrate a strong commitment to pursuing a career in physical therapy and serving the healthcare needs of communities throughout the state.

This program may be right for you if you are:

• A full-time undergraduate student at UC Denver or UC Colorado Springs
• A Colorado resident
• Interested in becoming a PT
• Hoping to attend the CU DPT Program
• Planning to practice in Colorado upon graduation

You should especially consider applying if you identify with one or more of these:

• First-generation college student
• Pell Grant eligible
• Military connected
• From a rural or frontier Colorado community
• Passionate about serving Colorado communities
