The University of Colorado Neurology Supportive and Palliative Care Program holds a vision of a world where high quality patient and family-centered care for persons affected by neurological illnesses is the rule rather than the exception.  Towards this end, we have dedicated ourselves to providing outstanding team-based care to patients regardless of ability to pay, groundbreaking research, training the next generation of leaders in this field and community advocacy.

Since our first clinic in 2013, our program has benefited from the generous donations of grateful patients, families, and philanthropists interested in raising the standards of care for neurologic disease.  Potential reasons to give to the University of Colorado Neurology Supportive and Palliative Care Program include:

  1. To honor a loved one who benefitted from our clinic and services.
  2. To allow us to maintain clinical programs and services that are not covered by medical insurance and to continue our commitment to provide care to anyone who needs our services regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
  3. To allow us to create and expand the services we provide to patients, families, and the community.  This could include classes, art-based therapies, and financial/legal advising.
  4. To fund the training of the next generation of physicians, researchers, and other providers who can take this work to underserved areas and new levels of excellence.
  5. To accelerate our research and allow us to tackle new ideas, fund new investigators, create more powerful collaborations, and complete ongoing projects faster.
