Users are strongly encouraged to discuss imaging intentions and sample preparation techniques with
microscopy core staff to understand which protocols and technologies are best suited for their needs. If
needed, microscopy core staff will also demonstrate system capabilities with your prepared samples. Some
super resolution techniques or tissue clearing protocols require special reagents and expertise. The core has
some reagents on hand, contact microscopy core staff to see what is available.
This covers theory and instrumentation, so users understand the advantages, limitations, and capabilities of
the system. Training is performed per request and after consultation. Users will have access 24 hour to the reservation
system and microscopy rooms after completion, but are encouraged image during working hours.
Technical assistance is always available during business hours. For imaging that requires a great deal of expertise or for users of infrequent microscope use, it may be more cost effective to have microscopy core staff image for you. Please contact us to schedule any assisted imaging services.
