She earned her Ph.D. from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in 2009, followed by an internship at Rush University Medical Center and a 2-year neuropsychology fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Grounded in a collaborative, team-based philosophy, she works closely with multi-disciplinary providers to improve quality of life for her patients.

Dr. Medina serves on the Colorado Brain Injury Trust Fund Board and teaches mindfulness classes for the Brain Injury Association of Colorado. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys camping, biking, gardening, and music and is a lifelong learner and practitioner of mindfulness to support her own well-being.
