The Injury & Violence Prevention Center is a collaborative initiative of the Colorado School of Public
Health and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. The center supports researchers, practitioners and students in supporting injury prevention in areas such as suicide and violence prevention, unintentional injury prevention such as motor vehicle
safety, falls and burns prevention, child maltreatment prevention, and opioid overdose prevention.
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus recently announced the creation of the Gates Institute—a new institute to help scientists develop cell and gene therapeutics more effectively. The institute was made possible by a philanthropic investment from the Gates Frontiers Fund in partnership with CU Anschutz. Read more.
