Created in response to primary care clinicians’ and practices’ request for scientific evidence and guidelines, HOMER is an ongoing national study comparing three methods of induction for medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD): home, office, and telehealth inductions. Practices and patients participating in this study are part of an exciting effort to support patients seeking to overcome the grip of OUD and practices striving to provide the most effective evidence-based treatment for individual patients.
