Meet Our Fellows

Originally from Alabama, Jessica Adams completed her medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Indiana University and a hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic before moving to Colorado for her geriatrics fellowship. She is passionate about identifying what matters most to seniors and working alongside them to shape a healthcare plan that aligns with their personal goals and values. When not in the hospital or clinic, she can be found downloading the latest best-seller on her Kindle, backcountry camping a national park, trying out the local Denver restaurant scene, or sneaking treats to her geriatric dog when her husband isn't looking. 

Amy Beauprez is a Family Medicine trained primary care physician who is delighted to return to the University of Colorado as a Geriatric Medicine Fellow. A Colorado native, she grew up in Littleton and earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2018 before completing her Family Medicine residency at North Colorado Family Medicine in Greeley in 2021.

After residency, Dr. Beauprez practiced full-spectrum family medicine in Salida, where she had the privilege of caring for patients across all ages and stages of life. The relationships she built with older adults and their families inspired her to pursue fellowship training in geriatrics.

She is passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence, align their healthcare with what matters most to them, and navigate the complexities of aging with dignity and compassion. Outside of medicine, Dr. Beauprez enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, hiking, and exploring the Colorado mountains with her husband, Evan.

Mesa Lynch is a sixth-generation Colorado native. After completing her Internal Medicine residency in Corvallis, Oregon, she was excited to return home to Colorado to pursue advanced training in Geriatric Medicine. She enjoys partnering with older adults and their families to navigate the complexities of aging and values building long-term relationships that support each patient's goals and priorities. When she is not in the clinic, you can find her hiking, skate skiing, or cheering on the Denver Broncos.
