Cecilia Low Wang MD

Professor
  • Endocrinology (SOM)

I did my endocrinology fellowship training at the University of Colorado and joined the faculty at the Denver VA Medical Center for the first part of my career. I moved my clinical and academic work back to the University of Colorado Hospital in 2012.

I see patients in the Endocrine Clinic at UCH, and I serve as Director of the Glucose Management Team at the University of Colorado Hospital. I teach medical students, house staff and fellows, lead clinical trials and QI projects, and I help design, oversee safety, and work on endpoint adjudication for clinical trials at CPC Clinical Research. I was born in Austin, Texas, and moved around the US and the world a lot as a kid, including Malaysia, and Taiwan where I graduated from high school. I’ve also lived in California (Pomona College), New York (medical school at the University of Rochester), and Utah (residency and chief residency at the University of Utah).

I have two dogs, and I love the outdoors.
