Members are welcomed into a vibrant, cross-departmental community committed to fostering excellence in education. Whether joining for the first time or receiving a new designation, this ceremony is a time to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of our faculty and their impact on the community here at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Induction Ceremony

The ceremony began with the introduction of all new members and those who received new designations within the Academy. As each individual was recognized, we had the opportunity to learn something new about their contributions and impact within our community. It was a moment of connection, celebrating the hard work and achievements of our colleagues, recognizing their dedication to advancing medical education. This recognition highlights the diverse talents within our Academy and reinforces the spirit of collaboration and excellence that drives our mission.

Photo Booth

Members had a great time at the photo booth, capturing fun moments with our departments, friends, and colleagues. This was a lighthearted break in the ceremony, allowing everyone to show off their team spirit and enjoy the company of fellow Academy members. The photo booth became a highlight of the event, as members laughed, posed, and made memories together, reflecting the camaraderie and community that makes the Academy such a special place to be.

Acade-Mingle Networking Hour

The night ended with one of the best parts of being a member of the Academy—networking! It was a perfect opportunity for members to connect, share ideas, and build relationships across departments. Conversations flowed easily, and the energy in the room was filled with excitement and collaboration. Whether catching up with old colleagues or meeting new faces, the networking session embodied the spirit of the Academy, fostering a supportive and vibrant community of educators.
