Let’s Talk: Conversations About Women’s Health is a lecture series for the community that educates both women and men. Physicians, researchers, and subject matter experts from the CU Anschutz Medical Campus present evidence-based information so that attendees can make more informed decisions about their own health as well as the health of their family members.
The Ludeman Family Center for Women’s Health Research Annual Community Luncheon is our signature education and outreach event. Held each fall, this spectacular event brings hundreds of Ludeman Center community supporters together. The event features prominent keynote speakers that are expert researchers and/or educators in women's health and study of sex differences. The event is chaired by a Ludeman Center Advisory Board Member and is made possible by individual, corporate, and foundation sponsors whose generous support funds the programs and research at the Ludeman Center.
Every year, the Ludeman Family Center for Women’s Health Research celebrates Girls' Career Day by providing an opportunity for high school-age girls to explore healthcare and science careers. This educational and fun day offers an inside look at several centers operating on the Anschutz Medical Campus, provides hands-on learning experiences and gives participants an opportunity to attend lectures and Q&A sessions with scientists and healthcare professionals. This celebration and educational event has allowed hundreds of girls to gain insight into the working lives of scientists and healthcare professionals.
