Thank you to everyone who supported our Center at the 2019 Annual Community Luncheon. Your contribution is helping to improve the way we prevent, diagnose and treat women, and making healthier, more hopeful futures possible for everyone.
During the luncheon, we heard from a truly remarkable researcher and author, Siddhartha Mukherjee, MD, as he spoke about the “Other Half” of the Genome: Women, Genomics and the Future of Medicine. It was inspirational to hear Dr. Mukherjee discuss the extraordinary things happening in genetic research and medicine, and how sex and gender are now becoming an integral part of the research milieu.
We highlighted a personal story about a lifesaving treatment and the Center research to improve outcomes for women. We also shared news of 10 new research projects, bringing us to over 70 MD and PhD scientists studying women’s health and sex and gender differences across the lifespan.
Special thanks to our Leading, Mentoring, and Sustaining benefactors of the 2019 Annual Community Luncheon.
The Center for Women’s Health Research is extremely grateful to all of our benefactors whose generous support benefits our operations and programs. Your support makes a difference.
