Empowering Researchers through Networking Events & Tailored Trainings
The Ludeman Center's strong reputation for success in career development starts with our dedication to funding and empowering early-career researchers. By connecting them with renowned faculty leaders at our center and from CU Anschutz Medical Campus, they have access to mentorship and support that propels the next-generation of scientists to becoming leaders in women’s health research.
The Ludeman Center offers 12 researcher trainings annually, in addition to networking opportunities at the Women's Health Symposium, Women's Health Research Day and the National Conference on Women's Health and Sex Differences Research. Trainings are tailored, hands-on practices that connect scientists with leaders in science and peers in the medical field.

National Conference on Women's Health and Sex Differences Research
Sex Differences across the Lifespan: Focusing on Cardiometabolism and Mental Health The 3-day meeting offers unparalleled opportunities for senior and early-career investigators alike to learn about current research, make strategic connections, and contribute to discovery and innovation in women's health and sex differences research. Annual Women’s Health Symposium
For nearly two decades, this annual symposium has brought together health care providers – physicians, nurses, medical students, specialists and more – to enhance their understanding of women’s health and sex and gender differences and strengthen the care they provide. This event also offers Continuing Medical Education credit.
Women's Health Research Day
Women’s Health Research Day is an annual celebration of women’s health and sex differences research. Researchers from across the Anschutz Medical Campus, the University of Colorado-Boulder, the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and Colorado State University present their latest finding to peers and senior scientists, hear from a national leader in women’s health, and participate in a judged poster session.
Researcher Management & Leadership Training
This online course helps early career researchers and mentors navigate the complexities of managing a research program and is free to CU faculty and trainees. This course will be useful for our junior researchers and senior faculty and is now available to researchers around the world.
Researcher Trainings
Monthly trainings are provided to researchers on a variety of topics to hone and sharpen their research, grants management, communications and other core skills. The tailored, hands-on trainings are provided by the Ludeman Center’s Senior Faculty and other experts at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and are open to all researchers affiliated with the Ludeman Center.
