Information for Standardized Patients

You are eligible for most shifts you see on your Shiftboard.  

Shifts are grouped into different categories, some of them may say ‘older female’ or ‘young female’. You may see both shifts available on your Shiftboard, this means you qualify for both and can sign up for both. 

During a Project- The project coordinator is the point of contact for all things related to a project, including if you are running late, sick, need to leave or have completed your role. Always check in with the coordinator before leaving or if you have questions regarding the project you are there for.  

Leave of Absence/extended time off- Contact your supervisor. 

To set up travel reimbursement go to Concur Travel & Expense found at https://my.cu.edu. Please select a delegate to prosses your travel. Click on your profile button at the upper right, a menu will drop down on the far left, click delegates, then add delegates, click on ‘Elshimaa Basha’, you can also add a second delegate, Brena Jones.  

You will get an email to go to Concur to review when the reimbursement is ready. Click on “expense” at the top, then review the amount, then click the “submit” tab. You will get an email letting you know when your payment has been processed. 

All mileage reports for the current month should be submitted by the 23rd of the month. If they are received after the 23rd, they will be processed the following month. Use the following link when submitting requests - https://ucdenverdata.formstack.com/forms/sp_mileage_reimbursement_form  

Enter the name of the project under ‘purpose of travel.’ Enter the address of where the event is located, please make sure you have it correct. Use one form per project, noting that the form gives you the option of entering several dates per event/project/assessment. Make sure your information in Concur is correct, especially your address and that your University email is listed. Your mileage is calculated based on your commute from CAPE to the event with a deduction for your commute from home to CAPE. 

Once your reports have been entered, Concur automatically sends you an email letting you know that a report is ready for you to review and submit. If you know you have submitted a reimbursement form for that month please be on the lookout for that email towards the last week of that month or first week of the following month. You may also log into Concur to review and submit those reports.

Login to the campus portal at https://portal.prod.cu.edu and navigate to CU Resources and Training. 

To view paychecks, Benefits, Skillsoft, LinkedIn, Concur and more. To access type my.cu.edu into your web browser, click on CU Denver/Anschutz, login using username and password. (The same as for your University email.) 

From here you can view your paychecks by clicking on the “paycheck” icon and then selecting the specific paycheck you wish to view. 

Please DO NOT use “my leave” for vacation requests.  Vacation requests must be made through Shiftboard. 

You can also access your Benefits via the Benefits icon.  

Classes and tutorials can be accessed via the Skillsoft icon. Skillsoft hosts thousands of online courses including required training, custom courses, instructor-led training (ILT) registrations, and online books.

LinkedIn learning: Offers thousands of video courses in software, creative, and business skills.  

Colorado Indigent Care Program (CICP), provides discounted health care services to low-income individuals and families. CICP is not a health insurance program. Discounted health care services are provided by Colorado hospitals and clinics that take part in the CICP program. Who Qualifies? 

All information is on the CICP website. Providers do include University Hospital.
