Want to join the Global Health Anesthesia team?
All applicants will be required to complete a formal application for participation in the program. All CA-2 residents in good standing with the Department of Anesthesiology are invited to apply and will have access to a fair, transparent, and equitable application process. Below are listed required documents to be completed in the application process:
- Application Form
At the end of the application cycle, committee members will meet to evaluate all completed applications. Applications will be blindly scored and numerically ranked. Candidates that pass the first round of application review will be invited for interviews with committee members. If at the end of the application process two or more candidates are deemed equal, the tie-breaker will fall to highest ITE score among candidates. Final decision of chosen candidate will be announced no later than May of the resident academic year allowing for time allotment in overall resident scheduling grid. - Current CV
- Two letters of recommendation and a letter of support from the Program Director
- Personal Statement
Motivations for interest in global health, future plans, experience (if any), areas of interest. - ITE scores for CA-1 and CA-2 years
