Data Coordinating Center

The Data Coordinating Center (DCC) is part of the Data Informatics and Statistics Core (DISC) within the Adult and Child Center for Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) at the University of Colorado Anschutz. It partners on collaborative clinical and pragmatic research projects funded by the NIH and PCORI, serving as a hub for data coordination for multi-site trials. DCCs are essential for managing and executing large, multi-site randomized controlled trials (RCTs), cluster randomized trials (CRTs), and other clinical studies. They contribute expertise in study design, database development, data management, quality assurance, reporting, statistical analysis, and IT support for trial oversight and communication.

The DISC DCC has led multi-site trials funded by NIH and PCORI, including a 20-site Phased Large Award for Comparative Effectiveness Research (PLACER) funded by PCORI.
