The Data Informatics and Statistics Core (DISC) is dedicated to advancing health services and outcomes research through the development and application of innovative statistical methods. Our core mission is to engage in original, high-impact research that addresses critical challenges in health policy, patient care, and healthcare systems. We foster a collaborative environment that supports interdisciplinary research and provides expert guidance on study design and data analysis. Additionally, we are committed to mentoring and empowering early-stage investigators to cultivate the next generation of leaders in health services research and biostatistics.

Who We Are
The DISC is a team of biostatisticians, data managers, and data analysts who work collaboratively on translational research methods. We contribute to over 100 research projects and 40 grant applications annually and lead data coordinating centers for multi-site research. Meet our team here!
