Part of what makes CU Urology great is how we set up our residents for the future. Whether you're hoping to go on to a fellowship, into research, or directly to practice, we're here to give you the tools you need to be successful in whatever future you choose.
Fellowships allow our residents to further specialize within urology, becoming experts in their subspecialties and providing care at the highest level of quality and expertise.
Our residents have gone on to fellowships in endourology, pediatric urology, and male fertility at hospitals, private practices, and prestigious institutions like the Mayo Clinic.
Our former residents practice in 21 states including California, Rhode Island, Alaska, and Hawaii. Five former CU residents still practice on our campus—two at Anschutz Medical Center, two at Denver Health Hospital, and one at Children's Hospital Colorado.
Educational conferences through the Division of Urology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus, are accredited through the Office of Continuing Medical Education. The University of Colorado School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine designates Urology Conferences as certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
