COVID-19 Precautions

The 7th International Conference on Retroviral Integration will follow the recommended guidelines set by the conference venue/hotel, the state of Colorado, and the CDC depending on the rates of transmission documented in Boulder County.

Boulder County COVID-19 Tracker

As of January 31, 2023, the CDC COVID tracker* rates Boulder County as “COVID-19 Community Level – Low” and lists the following recommendations:

“Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines. Get tested if you have symptoms. Wear a mask if you have symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19. Wear a mask on public transportation. You may choose to wear a mask at any time as an additional precaution to protect yourself and others.”

Mask Policy for RetroIntegration2023

Masking is strongly encouraged for fully vaccinated individuals, but is optional. We strongly recommend participants to be up to date with their vaccine boosters before the conference. We request that unvaccinated individuals please mask during the workshop.

Important:  Individuals who have been exposed to COVID should mask for 10 days following exposure, including at the conference. Additionally, anyone who begins to feel symptomatic at any point should isolate and self-report immediately without returning to the conference events.
