Colorado Genetics Laboratory is the premier academic clinical cytogenetic laboratory at the University of Colorado Anschutz in Aurora, Colorado. We offer a high quality comprehensive cytogenetic test menu including chromosomal microarray, chromosome analysis (karyotyping), and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) for both constitutional and oncology conditions in the state of Colorado and beyond. There are over 30 laboratory staff members including ASCP-certified cytogenetic or molecular technologists, and genetics counselors.

We train the next generation of healthcare providers such as medical students, medical residents and fellows, as well as medical technologists. We are a member of the University of Colorado Cancer Center and provide cytogenetic support to basic research and clinical trials.
