Professional Soccer Player for the Orlando Pride Organization
My name is Taylor Kornieck and I am a professional soccer player for the Orlando Pride organization. I played all four years of my college career at the University of Colorado Boulder where Dr. McCarty was our team surgeon. In my spring season of my sophomore year, I unfortunately tore my meniscus. I am grateful to the University for hiring Dr. McCarty because he was nothing short of outstanding. It is very important that a knee surgery on an athlete is done with the utmost care and precision. Dr. McCarty was excellent throughout the entire process and I have not had any problems since the surgery. I will forever be grateful for him because he has given me the opportunity to continue my career at the professional level.

I got the same expert care that professional athletes get, and today I am back running and cycling after a very successful surgery to repair my labrum and rotator cuff. What I especially appreciate is that we first tried to rehab with PT before jumping right into surgery. I often feel that specialists can get very myopic within their domain. I would recommend Dr. McCarty without hesitation.
Dr McCarty just performed a third surgery on me 10 days ago.
He did my L rotator cuff and L meniscus in the past, R rotator cuff last week. You simply couldn't find a better surgeon with a better reputation. His position alone at CU Sports Medicine and Performance speaks for itself, but in the OR, he's truly gifted at his profession. Excellent bedside manner, so confident in his abilities that you simply have no concerns that everything will go well and that you'll be just fine under his care. Inasmuch as I'd like to only ever run into him at the grocery store and not being operated on again, should the need arise, there's only one choice in Metro Denver when it comes to ortho!
