Dr. McCarty heads the fellowship program for graduate orthopedic surgeons at CU Sports Medicine. The fellowship is a vigorous program designed for orthopedic surgeons to specialize in sports medicine surgery. Because of this, you will most likely meet with an orthopedic fellow at the same time as your appointment.
Not only does Dr. McCarty work with these doctors, but he also believes in education for residents, college students, and high school students. As a result, you may see students shadowing during clinic.
