So Much MHA at AAA!
Ten MHA students joined MHA faculty and alumni at Anatomy Connected 2025
Jun 16, 2025
Ten MHA students presented their work at Anatomy Connected 2025 in Portland, Oregon, in late April. Seven students presented posters and three were honored by giving oral presentations. 2nd year student, Emi Buchanan (pictured top below), received the Langman Graduate Student Platform Presentation Award for her talk titled, "Optimal DBS electrode positioning in the anterior nucleus of the thalamus: A treatment for drug-resistant epilepsy."
Not only did MHA students have the opportunity to showcase their work in the program, they met with numerous MHA alumni, and networked with scholars and clinicians throughout the country.
All students attending AAA received the MHA Travel Scholarship, supporting the full cost of their travel and attendance.
Congratulations to MHA students and faculty who presented at Anatomy Connected!
