INTERNAL MEDICINE RESIDENCY PROGRAM ANNUAL AWARDS

Each year, the Internal Medicine Residency Program announces three awards: the Elina Kazarian Intern of the Year, the Fellow of the Year and the Faculty of the Year.

For those who do not know, Elina was an intern in this program when I was a resident. She was a model of professionalism, dedication, ability and calm—she was the doctor so many of us wanted to be. Unfortunately, she lost her life before she could complete her training. In her honor, we recognize one intern every year who embodies those qualities, based on the nominations from the residency itself.  —Geoffrey Connors, MD, Program Director, Internal Medicine Residency Program

Elina Kazarian Award—Nicholas Bianchina, MD
Fellow of the Year—Daniel Gergen, MD
Faculty of the Year—Yasmin Sacro, MD
