Dear Colleagues,
It’s the start of the new academic year and I’m encouraged by where we are going, paving the way as a leading Department of Medicine in the country. As one measure of our success, I’m pleased to announce the associate professor and professor promotions, and tenure, effective July 1.
Our extraordinary faculty are dedicated and distinguished professionals in their field who are committed to upholding our mission critical areas of clinical excellence, education and research. Please join me in congratulating your colleagues on their academic success.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the DOM and SOM Promotions and Tenure committees and all of our administrative support team for their hard work and stewardship of this process. It takes a village to move dossiers and CVs through the system, track loose ends and make sure committees have all the information they need to make the right decisions! We do it together!
We are doing great things in the DOM each day and every day. I hope you all reflect upon the tremendous efforts and energy from the previous academic year and take some time to recharge, rest and reset for the year ahead. Enjoy these months of summer in Colorado and as always, please reach out with your ideas, comments and suggestions.
