“We are reimagining the future of academic medicine—because when educators, researchers, and clinicians thrive, so do patients and learners.”
We are committed to fostering a thriving CU Anschutz School of Medicine community by measuring what matters, implementing what works, and equipping leaders to succeed. Our work blends immediate support for faculty with long-term strategies that shape the future of workplace well-being.
Our work is powered by two complementary efforts: CU Thrive: Office for Well-being (OWB) and Center for Workplace Well-Being Research. OWB serves as our service engine, partnering with departments and leaders to translate data into action through initiatives such as surveys-to-action programs, peer support, coaching, leadership development, and departmental consultation. The center, our research engine, advances the science of workplace well-being through studies of workplace design, leadership, culture, and organizational practices that influence workforce well-being and patient care.
Together, these efforts create a science-to-service pipeline—implementing best practices today while ensuring tomorrow’s solutions are backed by rigorous science.
