Division of Pediatric Surgery

The Division of Pediatric Surgery is home to the largest and most diversely skilled group of pediatric surgeons in the Rocky Mountain region. Our faculty are committed to providing the best care to patients of all ages- from newborns to young adults, as well as providing fetal surgeries. From hernias to tumors, trauma and burn care, fetal diagnosis and intervention, repair of congenital malformations, metabolic/bariatric surgery, robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery to advanced care of colorectal and pelvic disorders, our surgeons offer an impressive breadth of expertise and depth of experience in all aspects of pediatric surgical care.

Division members practice at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) on the Anschutz Medical Campus as well as network of care locations including all Denver Metro locations, South Campus, North Campus, Southeast, Wheat Ridge, and Children’s Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs. The Division also provides services at the Denver Health Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Our Division members also strive to excel and make meaningful impacts in the areas of research and education. Divisional research efforts span bench to bench side, with projects focusing on topics such as pediatric onco-fertility, health disparities, fetal pathophysiology, quality and safety initiatives, etc. In addition, our fellowship and residency programs offer a world class training experience at one of the nation’s top 10 Children’s hospitals.
